It's part of Peavey's TransTube series. It's a pretty good amp for a beginner and will make a good practice amp when I get a better one. I've never had any problems with it with breaking or repairs; it's built pretty well. You're able to get fairly good distortion on it without it being loud at all. However, overall the distorted channel isn't too good, it needs a distortion pedal (I bought the Boss DS-1). The CD input is kind of cool, especially if you want to have a friend plug their guitar or something into it also, however, when something is plugged in there, it subdues the sound of the amp. Can get fairly loud if needed. Only suggested for beginners or for use as a cheap practice amp. Rating: 3/5
