I think you're surprised whenever you hear I like anything, Morgan. I've only read one Gibson novel, and that would be Neuromancer, which is supposed to be his best. For good reason too, it seems, its truly a classic cyberpunk novel through-and-through. I recommend it.

Dinkin' flicka.

All right, I'll add it to my book list. Which means I might have it read by the time I'm 30. XD

Does it freak the hell out of anyone else that Thurston is 50 and Kim is 55? They don't seem that old at all; they even look really young. I mean, they're my dad's age, and I can't picture my dad rocking out. XD

They formed in the early 80s, no? 50 sounds pretty reasonable. Good on them if you think they still look young. I think they pretty much look their age though, except for Thurston, you're right about that one.

My dad is Mick Jagger's age, but my dad looks younger. Mick rocks a little harder though.

I still drool over a couple of sexy senior citizen rock stars... (none of them ever were in the Rolling Stones though). And some not so senior. Heck, Nick Cave turned 51 and he's looking in better shape than ever.
The misfits are everywhere.

Why is Thurston Moore older than my dad? That annoys the fuck out of me. XD I can only picture Sonic Youth as a bunch of teenagers. XD

Bleh xD I could never really get into them all that much. xD I don't mind listening to them if Brenn ever forces (I mean nicely sends me a song!) me to, but listening on my own is a very rare occurrence. xD

You never listen to anything good unless I make you. Otherwise you're trying to listen to FOB, Paramore, or some radio edited N*Sync song or some mess.

The amount of XDing between these two posts is absurd. XD

Pretty much what Brennan said though: it's really hard to picture senior citizens playing noise rock. Especially when the word "Youth" is part of their band name. :P

I could have sworn that I asked which Sonic Youth CDs I should buy >.< . Anyway, I got Daydream Nation today 'cause it was only $12-ish.

So Dan...what do you think about the album?

In other news, I listened to Confusion is Sex for the first time in a couple of years yesterday and I found it kind of meh. Basement production ftl. =/
