Music technology, as I see it, encompasses such topics as iPods/mp3 players, speakers/headphones, listening software like iTunes and WMP, file formats, record and CD players, music websites like Last.fm, etc. Currently threads on these topics are posted in either Artist & Genre Discussion, which is technically for artists and genres, i.e. the actual music, or The Inferno, which doesn't quite seem like the right place either. Options for the location include a new forum in the "Music" category or possibly figuring out a way to work it into Music Theory & Instruments. What are your thoughts on this? Where do you think such a forum belongs?

I would say it would mostly be for organizational purposes...though they may go hand in hand because I know of a few threads I would have started already if I wasn't such an "organization whore" as Ana says. (Come to think of it, she calls me a lot of terms involving the word "whore." ) I guess what it really depends on is how many more websites Dante is going to find that do something with your Last.fm account info.
