Location: Pennsylvania Last.fm: softshock	Why isn't there a thread about them!?!?!? Their first EP has some solid songs. Funeral is A+. I haven't listened to Neon Bible much, I didn't like it last time I listened to it, but my fellow gay indie lovers enjoy it, I might give it a second try.

Overrated, but enjoyable.

Methinks "Rebellion (Lies)", "Laika", "Neighborhood", and "In the Backseat" are my favorites. Funeral as a whole is worth some listens, but the others seem kind of filler-y. They seem pretty much in accordance to your tastes.

Now listen to their first EP. Then Neon Bible. Neon Bible is much much harder to get into though, it's still pretty excellent.

I've also realized I don't really like any of the songs R�gine sings lead on. On a more positive note, I've developed a much larger appreciation for their songwriting abilities after learning to play "Neighborhood #1." That song should sound like shit. The timing of the chord changes is weird as hell. I'm not sure how it's so damn good. Also Win sounds like Conor Oberst if Conor Oberst could actually sing well. That is all for now. I've only listened to their EP once though so I'll deliver a verdict on that later.

Location: Pennsylvania Last.fm: softshock	Neon Bible is not at all mediocre, not spectacular though... But come on, "No Cars Go", "Keep the Car Running", and "Black Mirror" are all amazing. Regine doesn't sing lead on too many songs, I think her's are pretty good though, specifically "Haiti" and "In the Backseat."
