Dinkin' flicka.

To get into the chat room, just click the "Chat" link on the submenu. It will sign you in automatically with your forum username.

If you're having trouble getting into chat, here are some potential reasons:
  • You do not have the latest version of Java. Download it here.
  • You clicked "No" on the security pop-up when you first entered the page.
  • Your firewall is blocking the Java applet.
If you've checked these things and are still not able to get into chat, post here and we'll try and help you.

How to register in chat:
It's quite helpful if you register your username in chat. Here's how to do it:
  1. Click on the "Status" window at the bottom of the chat screen.
  2. Enter "/ns register password emailaddress" without quotes. Substitute password and emailaddress with your desired password and actual email address.
  3. A "NickServ" window will appear next to the "Status" window. Click on it and it will tell you if registration was successful. If you have a common username, your nickname may already be taken and you will have to choose another.
  4. Whenever you enter chat, go back to the status window and type "/ns identify password" without quotes, using the password you entered in step 2. This will tell the chat room that it's really you, and not someone using your nickname.
