I could have bet a good sum that we had a thread on them already, but then I would have lost a good sum. Good stuff. Bradley Nowell's an underrated songwriter and guitar player. There have been rumors of this happening, and I really hope they're untrue, because really Bradley was the band. It wouldn't make sense to play without him and call it "Sublime." |

I love Subliiiiiiiiiiiiiime. Bradley's songs are cool tunes man. And it's like yeah. I can only listen to 40 Oz. to Freedom and Sublime. Actually I haven't listened to the others much but I think they are bad. But what isn't bad is amazing. Some songs suck though but for the most part its like happy ecstasy fun timmmmmmes. STOLEN FROM AN AFRICA LAND CHASED OUT WITH A KNIFE WITH A FACE LIKE BOB MARLEY AND A MOUTH LIKE A MOTORBIKE OH WELL THE DOORS ARE ALWAYS OPEN AND THE TIME IS ALWAYS RIGHT AND IF GOD'S GOOD WORD GOES UNSPOKEN WELL THE MUSIC GOES ALL NIGHT |

I actually just totally freaked out when I saw Sublime in the Punk & Pop-Punk subforum... then I read the rest of the description. But yeah I dig Sublime definitely. I think my favorite song is probably Summertime. |

"Summertime" is the original song by George Gershwin. The Sublime version is actually called "Doin' Time" due to some copyright thing or something. XD |

Only like the first line is the same. I know this because I was watching American Idol auditions because the bad people are funny and people started singing "SUMMERTIME AND THE LIVING'S EASY" and I was all SHIT SUBLIME and then they started singing different words and I was all :< But on the LimeWire version of the song I have it is called Summertime so yeah. But I have the entire album now so C: 40 oz might be better though, I'm not sure. |

I've come to think my favorite song is "Jailhouse." Brad's voice on that song is great. Especially the "What has been told to the wise..." part. He turns into an old black guy for a moment.

I like that one too. I like "5446/Ball and Chain" and "Scarlet Begonias" a lot even though they're both cover songs... I don't like the original versions of the songs though. I still can't tell if I like 40 Oz or Sublime better but it just seems like as a whole 40 Oz is cooler even though Sublime has more of the best songs |
