Pull the Plug Posts: 337 Group: Members Member #4 Joined: June 28, 2006 Gender: Male	The Offspring are a huge nostalgia trip for me. First heard them in grade four. Many times from then on my friends and I would sit in eachother's basements, listen to Ixnay on the Hombre and play video games. I like Ixnay and previous works, they got boring to me after that. I know my brother was crazy about them at that age. They really aren't anything special but as far as pop-punk goes Ignition and Smash are actually decent, fun albums. I went through a phase when I was in 5th grade where I really liked them, right after I heard them from Orange County. They're not bad, but pretty much all of their songs tend to sound exactly the same. I actually heard the new single on the radio the other day and when Dexter started singing I realized how much he actually sounds like James Hetfield, just a little more high-pitched. Kind of weird.

i enjoy tacos. what of it? Posts: 1,306 Group: Members Member #3 Joined: June 28, 2006	I remember The Offspring fondly. I think Self Esteem must have been the most popular song ever when it came out. This was one of those bands/CDs that you absolutely had to own or you would be viewed as a total dork. I think this came out when I was in either 6th or 7th grade, so like MANY of these threads, this takes me back!
