Dinkin' flicka.

I don't know...I rarely pay attention to drums tbh. The only drummer that's ever greatly impressed me is Matt Cameron, for his ability to make odd time signatures sound so natural.

Drummers really don't get enough attention. One of the most interesting instruments, I think.

That's definitely true. They're the foundation of the music. Very underrated. Unfortunately, since I am unable to and will likely always be unable to keep any rhythm, I try not to pay attention to them for fear of the wicked pangs of envy that may strike.

If there is anyone who can make you appreciate awesome drumming, its Zach Hill. Go listen to some Hella!

I don't generally pay attention to drummers much, but my favorite drummers are Lars Ulrich and Joey Jordison. From Metallica and Slipknot respectively.

I barely notice Grohl on drums. XD He was much better than Nirvana's first drummer, and he really shone on QOSTA's Songs for the Deaf but for the most part, he really isn't all that compelling of a drummer whatsoever.

I think Dave Grohl's a pretty good drummer. I hear the sheer force that he hits the skins with is enough to take a man's head off should he strike a man's neck with his drumsticks. :P

Nobody comes close to the Jazz drummer Billy Cobham, he used a triple bass drum kit, pretty amazing stuff he does. Otherwise, as far as Rock goes, I'd say that Keith Moon, Ginger Baker, Neil Peart, Bill Bruford and John Bonham are in a league of their own.
