Agalloch+ Borknagar (Origin non-growls) Eluveitie Elvenking+ (Winter Wake contains only a few growls) Ensiferum+ Finntroll Korpiklaani Mägo de Oz* (All of their stuff is in Spanish) Moonsorrow Orphaned Land+ (Middle-Eastern with a touch of progressive, lyrics in English, Hebrew, and Latin) Skyclad Svartsot Todesbonden+ (Elements of folk but with many symphonic and middle-eastern elements as well) Turisas Tır Vintersorg+ (majority of albums, they combine elements of progressive as well) Wintersun+ Designates little to no growling. + Recommended Edited by Guitarbreaker*, Jul 5 2008, 11:10 PM.

Acoustic guitars are somewhat prevalent but not always.

Besides, nu-metal isn't even really a genre anyway. As much as all you metalheads don't want to accept it, it's part of the vast array of metal subgenres. In other words, Fred Durst is my homeboy.
