June 27, 2006	The very beginnings of Music-Talk are founded when Morgan (rockon1824) started "Temp UG" on ForumCo. in aid of the servers being down on Ultimate-Guitar that day.
June 28, 2006	The next day, the dawn of "Music-Talk" arrived when Michael (username) set up an InvisionFree forum to transfer Temp UG to. We had a few skin changes during this period, but we settled on something similar to the "Green Dream" theme that you can now select in the forum theme changer. Later, a FreeWebs page (left) was made as a supplement to the forum. Staff members at the start of this period included god. (now "username"), rockon1824, Liberation, jimtaka (now "jimtaco"), metalology, ostin, meta1militia, stula1031, and Ninja Penguin (now "Ninja Kitten").
July 8, 2006	jimtaco becomes MT's first super moderator. Irishdropkick (now "Blake") joins staff team as moderator. The Song of the Week competition is started by Liberation.
July 9, 2006	Green Dream skin added. Liberation promoted to super moderator.
July 11, 2006	ana joins staff team as chatmin.
July 12, 2006	Chimaira joins the staff team as a moderator.
July 13, 2006	First incarnation of Music-Talk website is launched and Site Contributions forum added. Music-Talk reaches 3,000 posts.
July 27, 2006	Ninja Muffin (now "Ninja Kitten") resigns as moderator. Guitarbreaker joins the staff team as moderator.
August 30, 2006	jimtaco resigns as super moderator.
September 19, 2006	Blake resigns as moderator.
September 24, 2006	Music-Talk 2.0 came when this actual Music-Talk.org site was launched on September 24, 2006, adding the articles and reviews sections to Music-Talk. MT Points are created as a way of measuring user contributions. Official Music-Talk chat room added. The skin during this time is called "Starry Night" on your theme changer. ana promoted to super moderator. October 2, 2006	Blake rejoins the staff team as Site Manager.
November 3, 2006	Music-Talk reaches 10,000 posts.
June 28, 2007	Music-Talk turns one year old.
July 13, 2007	Music-Talk reaches 20,000 posts.
August 10, 2007	Music-Talk reaches 100 members.
January 1, 2008	Song of the Week competition becomes Song of the Month.
May 8, 2008	Music-Talk reaches 300 members.
May 29, 2008	Music-Talk 3.0 was let loose on May 29, 2008, and includes the blue and orange theme named "Music-Talk 3.0" in the forum theme changer. The main new feature of this update is the upgrade to ZetaBoards forum software. Other site additions included the site-wide search engine, Artist of the Month, Video of the Week, RSS feeds, and the Aristocrat user group. Forum organization was switched around, with an expansion of the Writer's Corner and a new general discussion forum, The Icebox. June 24, 2008	Music-Talk launches Last.fm group.
June 28, 2008	Music-Talk turns two.
July 14, 2008	MT Radio launched.
July 21, 2008	The Music-Talk Forums reach 30,000 posts.
September 17, 2008	Liberation resigns as super moderator.
September 23, 2008	R0CKER1220 and metalology join the Music-Talk staff team as moderators.
October 19, 2008	MT reaches 400 members.
November 24, 2008	Music-Talk reaches 40,000 posts.
November 30, 2008	Music-Talk 3.1 arrives, adding a new Music News forum, reorganizing the forums, and updating the Recommendation threads, among other things. You can read about the rest here.
April 11, 2009	Music-Talk 4.0 launched with the new purple, blue, and gray look coined "Music-Talk 4.0" in the theme changer. Also included the integration of the site and forums, a money and shop system, the Music News ticker, a new chat applet, greater profile customization, the MT Freebies project, and many other things, which you can read about here.
